Tailored platform
Notesmaster is a custom built learning environment that places emphasis on the principles of collaborative learning, open access to knowledge and education across borders.
Use of syllabuses
Notesmaster uses digital syllabuses to guide educators and learners through their subjects. These syllabuses are preloaded onto the platform to create a framework that can be used to organise class notes, assignments and favourite web resources.
My curriculum
Sign-up and select your country or region to gain access to the available curriculum. Notesmaster uses this approach to support educators and learners with a unique platform layout, tailored to their needs.
Creative Commons networking
Educators can collaborate with their peers locally and internationally, to build a body of Open Educational Resources that can be shared using Creative Commons licences.
Learner benefits
Learners are able to stay organised, connect with their peers and create exciting learning materials in their tailored 'Workspace'. Quick access to class notes, authored or adapted by local teachers to fit the local curriculum, simplifies the learning process.
Educator benefits
Notesmaster places great emphasis on the relationship between educator and learner. Exciting tools enhance this journey; private class groups complete with subject syllabuses, note editing tools, gradebooks, assignments creator and a quiz creator, are some of the highlights.
Track progress
Subject syllabuses can be very large, with many topics to cover. Notesmaster helps learners track their progress through each topic and guides them in exactly how much they need to learn.
Gradebook
The gradebook automatically tracks the grades awarded for assignments taken and submitted on Notesmaster. Educators are also able to manually add grades for work conducted outside of Notesmaster, giving learners a complete picture of how they are performing.
Community management
Notesmaster supports individuals and institutions in their administrative tasks through a wide range of metrics available in the 'Classes' and 'Groups' features.
Assignments
Educators can use the 'Assignments' feature in the 'Classes' area to set homework for their learners. Completed assignments can then be submitted securely online and graded.
Notesmaster Support Network
Notesmaster has an award winning approach to supporting Ministries of Education, Schools and Communities, in creating local learning materials. Schools and institutions can join this network for a subsidised monthly fee. Use the form below to get in touch.
